What better way to feel at one with the outdoors, than to experince paddling in one of our open Canadian canoes. This activity offers you an opportunity to explore and experience the tranquilty of lakes,
rivers or canals. If you like, our qualified instructors can show you some technical skills, to help you paddle and steer your canoe. Alternatively, you might wish to take part in some fun and games on the water – but be careful, as you might fall in (wetsuits provided)!
We can also offer a mini adventure in the South Lakes. This day would see you and your group paddling to a well-known island, jumping off some rocks into the lake, having some lunch, doing some Bushcraft and then paddling back. We would tailor make your mini adventure day to your individual wishes, as much as is possible.
If you want a bit more excitement within your canoe trip various activities can be incorporated into your trip, including; jumping off rocks or playing games out on the water. Be aware though, you are likely to get wet with these! Location: variety of locations within Lancashire and the Lake District. Age: minimum age of 12 years old unless prior arrangement. Kit: These activities will require you to bring wellies, trainers, wetsuit shoes or boots. You may also need a change of clothes, swimwear and a towel. All safety equipment (if necessary – wetsuits) will be provided.
This session can be seen as a Skills and learning or a Journey with intresting facts and sights or as a Team event with games and challenges.#
Windermere and Coniston are ideal locations for this and canals around the Lancashire area.
